Review Process

How a Content Leafcore backend architecture review runs — from scoping call to final walkthrough.

Architecture reviews at Content Leafcore follow a fixed sequence so both sides know when materials are due and when findings arrive.

  1. Inquiry & fit
You describe the system, the decision hanging on the review, and timing. We confirm whether the work fits our practice or should wait.
  2. Scoping call
A 30–45 minute call locks boundaries: services in scope, interview list, deliverable date, and fee.
  3. Materials intake
Diagrams, specs, runbooks, and access notes arrive in a shared folder. We flag gaps within two business days.
  4. Reading & interviews
We study the design, speak with nominated stakeholders, and map failure paths across the seams you care about.
  5. Draft for factual correction
You receive a draft brief. Comments at this stage correct facts — not tone down findings.
  6. Final brief & walkthrough
The final document and a 90-minute walkthrough close the engagement. Office hours can extend the conversation if needed.

What you prepare

  • A named decision and date
  • Current context diagram (hand-drawn is fine)
  • Draft or published API contracts for in-scope surfaces
  • Honest list of known pain points

What we prepare

  • Interview guide tailored to your seams
  • Findings ranked by urgency
  • Recommendations tied to the decision you named — not a generic maturity checklist
